art is nothing, if nobody takes a look...
on a tangent, we just turned in a "motion blur" project in my photo class, so many people tried these blurred headlights but nobody came close tho this!
anyways!
wow this is an awesome city scape, what really makes it hot is the variety of highly saturated colors... i mean normally you see some yellow/white, some red, and maybe one other color but this shots got reds, blues, yellows, greens oranges... and thats hot.
an interesting part of the dynamic is the strong verticle lines of the buildings in contrast with the chaotic diagonals of the streaking lights, i think this element makes the shot.
one last thing would be down at the bottom of the frame theres some streaking lights that look as if they cross almsot an X, i think thats very nice to draw your attention in to the center and then out to the edges.

Photographers do it with cameras
I particularly like this one as well.
With the blue right through to the orange. Its funny how I got blues and reds in my sky when my partner who was on digital camera got pinks and orange in the sky.
The same processes and exposures used on both.
This is one of the best shots i've taken thus far.
